  2.  Best Health Coaching Certifications of 2024 - Fortune’s inaugural ranking of the best health coach certifications for 2024 provides a comprehensive overview of well-known and credible programs. This contrasts starkly with a recent NYT article highlighting the devastating effects of inadequate regulation and ethical practices in the coaching industry. The takeaway: to ensure your credibility in this rapidly growing field, obtaining an industry-standard certification like the NBC-HWC is highly advisable even though many jobs still don’t require it.

  3. Professional Conferences - This past weekend I attended the 2nd annual ‘The Health and Well-Being Coaching Conference’ on June 7-9 and hope to share some takeaways in future newsletters. The Institute of Coaching also recently held it’s 15th annual Coaching in Leadership & Healthcare Conference in Boston on May 3-4. Coming up, the Annual Wellness Summit will take place August 26-29 in Chicago and the Lifestyle Medicine Conference will take place in Orlando and online from October 27-30.
