Coaches, be wary of recruitment scams in your job search

Hey there coaches!

It was brought to my attention by a subscriber that at least one of the job descriptions listed in our last issue #4 may have been a scam - the Wellness Coach at West Clinic role. Upon review, I believe the role for SS Tech may also be a scam.

Big thanks to the subscriber who reached out to let me know. As indicated in the yellow text box in each newsletter (as seen below), I am unable to verify the authenticity of listings and cannot make any guarantees about their validity, so please maintain vigilance and use your best judgement.

With that said, I want you to feel confident and safe in your job search and offer several resources in supporting that. Below are some articles sharing more on recruitment scams, how to avoid them, and what do do if you are scammed. I encourage you to do your own research as well to ensure you are fully informed.

Navigating the current competitive job climate for health coaches can be challenging. You are well equipped through your development as coaches to maintain presence, tune into your intuition, and approach a situation with curiosity. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for being here,

Leslie
